In the community
Showing up.
Sharing what matters.
Stories. Service. Connection.
Shawn’s work reaches beyond his books. From reading with young people to serving food alongside the church, community means being present and making room for others.
Neighbors serving neighbors
Food on the table.
Care in the community.
Shawn joins El Bethel Church of God in Christ in serving food through the church’s food pantry. This work is about showing up for neighbors, meeting a practical need, and treating people with care.
The same connection that shapes his books and conversations carries into this service: people matter, and a community grows stronger when we look out for one another.
